Job Description
Join our finance team and support us in our aim to ensure the financial health and transparency of our organization through accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and reliable financial processes. In this role, you will take ownership of both day-to-day accounting tasks and key controlling activities—ranging from processing transactions and maintaining financial records to budgeting, forecasting, and supporting strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in finance, accounting principles, and financial analysis, with a keen eye for accuracy and an ability to work confidently with numbers and systems. You are structured, analytical, and communicative. Working across departments, you’re comfortable navigating a variety of responsibilities and shifting priorities. You bring a positive, solutions-oriented mindset to your work, and you thrive in a collaborative environment with diverse teams and stakeholders.
What you will be doing:
- Reliably run several accounting tasks such as accounts payable (AP) process, credit card expenses, VAT declaration
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly and yearly closing
- Actively participate in the budget and forecast process and perform regular follow-ups with the other functions
- Develop the financial controlling function (cost centers, KPIs)
- Collaborate in various initiatives on reporting, tools, compliance and process improvements
What you bring:
- Educational background in Accounting, Controlling or Business Administration, along with at least 2-3 years of professional experience
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills combined with a hands-on mentality and a proactive and innovative approach
- Comfortable operating with a Abacus accounting software and related modules as well as Power-BI
- Fluent in English and German
- Prior experience in implementing a new ERP is beneficial
